In 1967, our adventure began by making statuary in the back yard of our home in Oklahoma City. Our first retail store, "Statuary Gardens" opened in the early 1970s on N.W.10th street. In 1974, we moved to the location we became known - N.W.30th & Penn. This old fashioned gas station from the 1930s become a unique eclectic selection of statuary, pots, plants, and lawn supplies. Then we opened a second store "Casual Furniture" on N.W.23rd and Penn selling bean bags, casual furniture, playground, and fireside. We resided at the two Penn locations for twenty years.
In 1995, we moved the N.W.30th store and expanded to N.I-35 between Wilshire and Britton - known for the big dinosaur. In 1998, we relocated the N.W.23rd store to Moore on South I-35. After 5 years in Moore, we expanded to our current Yukon location on I-40 & Cimmaron Road. We now have 2 metro locations in central Oklahoma, the Oklahoma City store on North I-35 and the Yukon store on I-40 & Cimmaron Road. Our Yukon store is a 150,000 square foot building with a 16,000 square foot greenhouse. Although our product offering has increased and our stores are larger, our mission remains the same - to offer selection, quality, and service.
